Zeya Umayya
PhD scholar in Computer Science & Engineering at IIIT Delhi, India.
I am a PhD researcher at Indraprastha Institute of Information Technology Delhi, working in the Network Security Lab. My research broadly focuses on different aspects of cybersecurity, including securing organizational perimeters, Android malware analysis using both static and dynamic techniques, Internet-scale measurements, and understanding evolving malware ecosystems and trends.
My work particularly explores enhanced attack awareness, the feasibility of deploying malware detection mechanisms directly on Android devices, and building practical solutions toward privacy-preserving and on-device security.
I am also always open to ideas, discussions, and collaborations at the intersection of malware analysis, network traffic analysis, anonymity systems such as Tor, pluggable transports, and even newer research directions that I find interesting and meaningful.
